Which documents are accepted for identity verification?

Identity verification is a required step to keep your account secure. To complete it, upload one of the following documents in the Verification tab under the Identity section:

• Passport
• Driving licence
• Government-issued ID card
• Residence permit
• Proof of age card
• Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
• Provincial health card with a photo

Before you upload, make sure your document:

• Is valid and not expired
• Is photographed clearly (not scanned or a digital version) with all four corners visible
• Has all information fully readable
• Some documents need to be uploaded from both sides, front and back.

Before submitting your document, make sure your name, date of birth, address, and phone number are filled in on your profile — this needs to be in place first.

Once submitted, we'll review it as quickly as possible.
